Norsk Innovasjonskapital II AS (NIK II) was incorporated in January 2011 as a private limited company pursuant to the Norwegian Private Limited Companies Act. Its headquarter and registered office is at Tollbugaten 24, 0157 Oslo, Norway.
Vision and strategy
NIK II shall create the highest possible return on invested capital through investments, development and exits from selected ventures originating from Norway’s leading technology research and development clusters and innovation parks.
NIK II shall secure a better and more stable access to capital and competence for commercialization of projects from Norwegian research and development communities and innovation parks, as well as to secure the owners a satisfactory capital and management structure for the development and realization of value represented by NIK II’s portfolio of investments in early stage ventures.
NIK II shall operate as a commercial investment company seeking competitive returns on invested capital. Through the manager, Televenture Management X AS, the Company will be an active owner in the companies in which it invests and be a professional and competent partner for the portfolio companies’ management, board and shareholders.
Management team
Televenture management team includes six senior members that have long venture capital industry experience both domestically and internationally which includes a number of financial transactions, such as stock exchange listings and M&As.The team members hold diversified competence and experience from a broad range of business areas. Special competence areas include oil and gas, IT and telecom.
The team includes both entrepreneurs with proven success, previous senior business leaders and persons with significant international operational experience, including work in the US, Asia and the Middle-East.
